Don’t keep cats in shops – FDA advises shop owners

Mr Mathew Gyan Nkum, a Senior Regulatory Officer of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), has advised shop owners not to keep cats in their shops as it is dangerous to the health and safety of consumers. He said shop owners mostly did that to prevent rodents and insects from feeding on the edible products but it posed a threat to public health.
